Pastor Gary Wright (founder & Lead Pastor) Is the senior pastor of Kingdom Living Community Church of Davie, Fl. He was born in Miami, Fl. To the late Rev. Wiley and Mildred Wright . He is the youngest of six children. Pastor Gary founded Kingdom Living Community Church on January 2, 2000.
Pastor Gary who has a heart to reach and empower people with the word of God, entered into seminary in 1990 and was ordained in October, 1995. He served as an associate pastor at S.A. Cousin A.M.E. Church with his father Rev. Wiley Wright for ten years; where he learned much under his leadership. He was ordained by Apostle Wiley Wright , senior apostle of the National Alliance of Progressive Churches in 2000.
Pastor Gary is the founder and CEO of "South Florida Empowerment Group Inc." which includes S. FL. Pregnancy Resource Center ( a crisis pregnancy center ) ; Agape home of S.Fl ( A transitional women's shelter) a food pantry, and a community outreach program that offers free clothing and baby furnishings.
Pastor Gary is married to Diana since 1985 and has been blessed with one daughter Jasmine and two sons, Matthew and David.
Pastor Gary has been delivering the preached word for over twenty years and remains focused on ministry, growth, and outreach. Commissioned by God to minister to the body of Christ and community , he has a special heart for young people and enjoys encouraging them to higher standards and expectations.
Pastor Diana Wright (Co Pastor) Pastor Diana began ministering as Sunday school teacher at S A Cousin Memorial Temple A.M.E. Church , under the leadership of her father-in-law
The late Rev. Wiley Wright and First Lady Mildred Wright. She is the last of eight children. She was born in Kingston Jamaica,W.I. And migrated to the United States in 1971. Her family settled in Miami Fl. In 1973 where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Pastor Gary Wright.
She received her minister's license in 2006 and was ordained an elder in 2010
Pastor Diana is a teacher of the bible. She serves as Co-Pastor of Kingdom Living Community Church where both she and her husband has a vision to reach the broken and underserved.
She leads the women's ministry at Kingdom Living . Her desire is to develop The spiritual life in every woman and bring them to oneness
She is the Co-Founder of S.FL. Empowerment Group ; A community development Corporation and currently serves as Director of S. Fl. Pregnancy Resource Center.
Pastor Diana has an associates of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and is currently working to fulfill a bachelorette degree in Human Services.She also oversees Agape Maternity Home ; a transitional housing program for pregnant women and teens.
Son of Senior Pastors Gary and Diana Wright, and husband to Jessica Wright, Mathew was born and raised in Miami, FL. He attended Miami Dade College - North Campus to pursue his degree in Computer Science. Mathew was given the opportunity to enter the prestigious Year-Up Professional Training Corps (PTC) Program that offered an intensive, one-year program for college students between the age group of 18-24 years. The program combined professional coaching, hands-on skill development and internships at some of America’s top companies.
Mathew was given an internship at Miami Parking Authority where he learned the ins and outs of computer programming and troubleshooting. He also developed his professional skills and work experience. Through this amazing opportunity that prepared Mathew to plan a meaningful career, God provided Mathew a career as a Genius in Vista-BMW at Coconut Creek. He hopes to continue his studies to earn his degree in Computer Science. Mathew is part of the worship ministry as a devoted drummer for God. He and his wife, Jessica Wright overlooks the Kingdom Kidz Ministry. Together, both of them organize the annual Harvest Fest that takes place during the last week of October. Whether it’s preparing lesson plans for Kingdom Kidz or creating events for the youth to fellowship, the couple is passionate about everything.
Jessica Wright was born and brought up in Miami, Florida by her Cuban parents. Married to Mathew Wright, she is a firm follower of Jesus Christ who is also a dancer and loves people. Jessica received her Associate’s degree at Miami Dade College – The Honors College. She was the Student Government Association President for the session 2013-2014. Moreover, she was also the Student Body Representative in the Board of Trustees meetings she pursued MDC initiatives and promoted the concerns and ideas of the student body.
She continued her studies at Florida International University where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology Summa Cum Laude. While studying, she committed nine hours a week in her internship at the Center for Children and Families – STAND program (working with teens who have ADHD). She also participated at an intensive Summer Treatment Program as a Pre-K counselor, where she worked with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Conduct Disorder, Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, learning problems, and related behavior problems. She aspires to continue her studies as a School Psychologist. Jessica has also been dancing ballet for over 10 years and has taught baby ballet and ballet 2 to kids between the age of 2-7 years. She was a camp leader in the Share Tolerance and Respect (S.T.A.R) Summer Dance Camp, where she created lesson plans and choreographies for students from ages 5-11. Last but not the least, Jessica Wright is the Sunday School teacher for Kingdom Kidz and dance ministry leader. She along with her husband, Matthew Wright overlooks the ministry. The couple organizes the annual Harvest Fest that takes place during the last week of October. Whether it’s preparing lesson plans for Kingdom Kidz or creating events for the youth to fellowship, they are passionate about doing it all.
